Diversity and equality are often perceived as complex and sometimes controversial areas. We take a practical and proactive approach to our work, aiming to de-mystify the area and issues to clearly identify what needs to be done and how to do it.
We work closely with our clients in developing programmes' content and materials to ensure that specific aims and objectives of the learning event are met. In our delivery, we rely on the real-life experience of staff at work as a basis for learning. Hence we explore, for example, the detail of case scenarios, examining what happened and why and identifying whether anything could have been done differently and the likely impact on the outcome.
Our style of delivery is highly participative, engaging, thought provoking and flexible. A common sense approach is encouraged so that participants can arrive at solutions and methods that they can 'own' and feel confident in delivering. Our clients report high levels of satisfaction and enjoyment of those attending our events.
EvaluationEvaluation of our training is an essential element of our programme. Learning and development is an important part of any change programme, and evaluating the impact of these interventions as diversity is delivered in an organisation will be an important part of the follow-through and justification of the costs of training.
It is also important that an organisation is able to determine to what extent their learning objectives have been met, whether any other training/learning needs remain, along with feedback about approach and methods.
Determining whether or not a particular invention was actually responsible for change can sometimes involve examining a complexity of variables. We work closely with our clients to develop appropriate methods to enable systematic evaluation on as many levels as practical to obtain a total picture.
